CHARLOTTE MCKINNEY

BIO

Holding the title of one of the ‘Sexiest Women’ by GQ and landing the coveted title of GQ’s ‘International Model of the Year’, actress and model Charlotte McKinney will be on the silver screen this year with the indie film THE ARGUMENT, starring Maggie Q (“Designated Survivor”) and Dan Fogler (“The Walking Dead”) and comedy film GUEST HOUSE, starring Pauly Shore (“Son In Law”) and Billy Zane (“Titanic”), along with Sony Pictures’ 2020 supernatural horror film, FANTASY ISLAND.
The social media darling grew up in Orlando and climbed the modeling ladder from Miami to Malibu. In 2015 she got her break when she graced the small screen with millions of viewers watching her au naturel in a Carl’s Jr. “All Natural” Super Bowl commercial, which garnered an astounding 4.5 billion impressions in less than a year of its launch. She returned to television screens across the U.S. when her second campaign with the fast-food chain launched, making Charlotte the first-ever returning lead star for the brand.

On the acting front, she’s appeared in several films including Paramount Pictures’ BAYWATCH (with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), Crackle’s MAD FAMILIES (opposite Charlie Sheen) and 2B Film’s/Sony Picture’s FIRST WE TAKE BROOKLYN (opposite Academy Award nominee Harvey Keitel and AnnaLynne McCord). She’s also had guest appearances on television shows such as Netflix comedy series ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’, Blackpills’ grindhouse-style feminist series “A Girl Is A Gun” (alongside Denise Richards), CBS’ action-adventure reboot “Macgyver,” and partook in Netflix’s ‘Historical Roasts’ alongside Jeffrey Ross.

In addition to pursuing acting and modeling, McKinney is a longtime proud supporter of Best Buddies, a nonprofit organization that aims to create opportunities for those with developmental disabilities. She also works heavily with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Outside of work and her philanthropic work, Charlotte aims to live a healthy and active life by practicing hot yoga and Pilates, along with maintaining a clean and healthy diet.

  • Charlotte is a fabulous model.
  • She gained some notoriety from the Super Bowl commercial several years ago in which she ate a hamburger.
    • Since, she has found wild success and was even on Dancing with the Stars.
  • Now, Charlotte is 28.
  • She stresses about a lot, including upkeep and eating and living healthily.
  • After the Super Bowl ad, she signed with an agency and got more into the acting side.

MODELING GOOD HEALTH

  • Charlotte is very health-focused.
    • For awhile, she got way too thin.
      • She wasn’t eating meat or dairy, but her doctor told her she needed to again.
        • She got back on the meat train and has never turned around!
          • This was hard as a woman in LA — the culture is different.
  • Traditionally, she’s been quiet about her health but as more women have opened up, so has she.
    • Years ago, she had a terrible eating disorder. She derived her worth from her body and she has had to fight that.
  • She looks at the ingredients in what she eats.
  • If it has chemicals or it’s processed, it’s out.
    • Recently, she reposted a video of Vinnie’s where he recited the ingredients in a burger.
  • Breaking the diet culture in the back of your head is something she still battles but works toward.
    • She has had to teach herself not to overdo things — exercise, cut out meat, etc.

KEEPING YOUR BRAIN & BODY STRONG

  • Jody has been on the show before. Check it out here:
    • NSNG® After Antidepressants
  • She is a long time NSNGer, and has met Vinnie and the crew.
  • Jody & Vinnie agree it’s important to keep your body and brain strong in all environments.
    • For example, Jody is from Minnesota and has to acclimate herself somewhat to that.
    • Either you use your body or you lose your body!
  • When Jody was trying to gain custody of her daughter, the other side tried to use her healthy diet (NSNG®) to say she had an eating disorder.
    • This was truly BS.
    • She became so healthy as a result of this way of eating.
  • Eating healthy changed Jody’s life. She grew so much.
  • She runs through what she eats in a day, too.
  • Jody is a recovering alcoholic. In part, her spiritual work has helped her with this AND with her dietary health.
  • Jody just had her 50 year old check up – it was really a celebration of her health.
    • All of her numbers, everything was amazing.

MENTAL ILLNESS

  • Many kids develop symptoms in adolescence but are not getting to professionals
    • Could be ignorance, money, bad parenting, etc.
  • One can see the effect of mental illness in the horrible tragedies such as Sandy Hook and Aurora and Adam Lanza
  • Some medications can exacerbate intense suicidal and homicidal thoughts

TECHNOLOGY

  • Kids, including Tallulah, are all on many different forms of media at one time
  • Many kids feel like they can’t walk away from a device
  • Hard for parents to react to this when their kids are otherwise doing very well
  • It can be an addiction, though, and really become an issue

NUTRITION

  • It’s an issue when young children start to restrict their food intake
  • Not getting enough cholesterol or fatty acids
  • Good nutrition helps one to contain good dopamine and serotonin and other necessary hormonal levels
