NSNG® DRINKS

  • Vinnie doesn’t drink much
  • Has water and coffee regularly
  • Loves his soda stream to make fizzy water
    • The carbonation is really satisfying
  • He’ll also make ginger tea
    • Really just adds ginger root (whizzed up, sometimes with HWC or butter) to near-boiling water
      • Ginger does help nausea (and has other medicinal purposes)
        • Helps him when he goes on the ocean – he gets very sea sick

TRAINING OVER TIME

  • Vinnie is going to climb Mont Blanc this summer
  • He has begun specific training for this
  • Did about 42 hours of on his feet training for this in January
    • Took 4 break days throughout the month (mostly for traveling, but he does believe in break days)
  • Does around an hour per day, or two on the weekends
  • Building up his aerobic fitness
  • On this particular regiment, he is going to do around 10% gains per month – i.e, doing 46 or 47 hours next month, and 52ish in March
    • Slow and steady!
  • Everything he did for this training in January was in Zone 2
  • Depending on your goals, you can train in other zones – it isn’t ‘bad’
