  • Randonneurs are nuts in a good way
  • Racer had gotten about half way, but had to go to hospital
    • Partner had to go back and finish
    • DNF
  • Vinnie has DNF’d twice — has tendon problem in one of his tendons
    • Found out that he had leukemia on a training ride for the 508
      • 300 mile training ride — wearing winter clothes in summer, etc.
    • Really progressive leukemia, overcame it!
