SQUATS

  • Lonnie does too many squats, then quits for a month because he’s in pain, and then has to start all over again
    • How can one prevent one’s hamstrings from hurting too much?
  • Stabilize yourself and don’t start with a bar for squats
  • In the gym, start with lunges, do light leg presses, let your legs get used to it
  • Take your time — don’t feel any pressure to push yourself too far

HCG DIET

  • There was a “diet” shot that made you less hungry and easier to gain muscle
  • Gonadotropin was taken from pregnant mares, and body builders used to do it but we could female-like breasts
  • HCG = human choieonic gonadotropin
  • This is not safe or effective 
  • Consumers should stay clear of weight loss products with this in it

THYROID MEDICATION

  • You only take a little of porcine thyroid
  • This way, your body will still produce hormones that it needs to
  • Any hormone (steroid) that you take will make your body stop producing that hormone which is bad

WEIGHT LOSS AND FRUIT

  • Fruit is not the best to lose weight
  • By all means, eat it, eat berries, but fruit prevents weight loss if you have a poor metabolic system
  • Bananas and pineapples are such straight sugar
  • Vegetables are better!
  • Just be careful

ANNA’S ALLERGY TEST

  • Anna has been testing 180 foods to see what see is allergic to
  • She had no dairy, and now has gone back to it
    • she can now tell the difference between high and low quality dairy

BCAA

  • Branch chain amino acid
  • Breakdown of 4 different amino acids
  • Vinnie has prior worked with it
  • Building block in protein that helps your muscles build and recuperate faster

MG VITAMIN

  • New magnesium vitamin made of 3 different types of magnesium
  • Vinnie has been working on this for almost as long as the multivitamin
  • This is more expensive, but Vinnie will work it out
