SAUNA BENEFITS
- Vinnie is a big sauna fan.
- He wants to build one in his home!
- This allows him privacy while he stretches–he likes to stretch in the sauna.
- Infrared saunas have been cropping up.
- Studies say they’re better for you.
- Vinnie looked into it.
- If you have a regular sauna, air heats up to whatever temperature you’d like.
- It’s like an oven.
- You sweat, you reap all the benefits.
- Infrared saunas heat up you, not the air.
- Vinnie doesn’t think this is a bad thing.
- Maybe these can be smaller.
- But it seems like it provides the same benefits as a normal sauna.
PROTEIN INTAKE
- How does protein interact with muscle building?
- You do need protein to build muscle.
- The best form of protein is animal protein.
- If you work out, you probably should eat more protein than if you don’t.
- The Bro Science window is BS, though.
- There isn’t some 30 minute period where you must eat protein for your muscles to start building.
- They’ll build over 36 hours or so.
- There isn’t some 30 minute period where you must eat protein for your muscles to start building.
- If you do intermittent fasting, you can still build muscle so long as you do eat protein when you eat.
- You don’t need protein 24/7.
- Vinnie typically fasts 16 hours of the day.
- But, if you eat too much protein (which is a lot), your body will turn it into sugar.
- So don’t go crazy.
