HOW GEORGE FOUND VINNIE

  • George doesn’t completely remember, however he is a big audiobook listener
  • He then found the podcast
  • George refers many people to both the book and the diet
  • He’s a former football player (D3) but he wants to get lean like Vinnie which is part of the reason he follows Vinnie so seriously

HOW CAN A GUY LIKE GEORGE LEAN OUT BUT ALSO STAY BIG?

  • George was a tightend, 6’4″, 225 lbs
    • He now weighs 245 and is in pretty good shape but wants to get lean
    • He wants to lose 15 lbs
  • In football, it was all about being big to stay safe
    • “Fear of smallness” after stopping playing football
    • Ex Football players have to accept that they will lose a little size (not muscle size, muscles can look bigger)
  • There are many guys who aren’t in shape but are very strong, built
  • One must consider: Fit to do what?
  • Vinnie feels that George will still be as strong even if he were to lose 30 lbs

IF ONE IS CARRYING A BIG BODY AROUND, IS IT HARDER TO STAY HEALTHY LONG TERM?

  • It depends on one’s BMI, not on one’s sheer size
  • You can still live a long, successful life

COULD VINNIE EVER DO A MUSCLE UP?

  • A muscle up is where one does a pull up, pulls oneself over the bar, and dips
  • Vinnie could do this in college even when he weighed 230 lbs
  • Vinnie was in the gymnasium all the time as a physical education major so Vinnie could even do an Iron Cross

IF ONE WANTS TO LEAN OUT, DOES ONE NEED TO BE INCREDIBLY STRICT WITH THE DIET?

  • You do not need to be in ketosis
  • If you are eating veggies, some fruit, and meat, your body will pack on lean muscles
  • This will improve one’s workout
  • You have to completely commit to this diet to achieve goals such as George’s

An NSNG meet up where Vinnie goes to his fans may be on the horizon…

POSITIONS AT PLAYBOY

  • Vinnie did work for Playboy for a bit (as an actor)
  • Andy sold such videos and worked in PR, and Cindy worked in PR

THE MANSION

  • There was a “boom boom room” at the mansion for privacy in intimate moments
  • There were tunnels in the mansion
  • The way to get in to the mansion was to speak into a rock, and they would let you in accordingly
  • The parties at the mansion were huge and everyone wanted to attend
  • Vinnie was a boy-toy
  • One needed to be beautiful or have beautiful people accompanying them to get into parties

PLAYMATES

  • Tawny was a playmate, very sweet girl
    • Andy took her abroad
    • Has her act together
  • Vinnie took Kathy Shower on a date
    • She is still friends with Playboy
  • Most of the girls were very nice, and most were not troubled
    • Playboy was a stepping stone into acting
  • Andy’s favorite playmate was Victoria Silvstedt
    • She never needed taking care of

BOND GIRLS

  • Another exclusive group of beautiful women
  • Bond girls go to conventions to sign autographs
  • The Bond girls are across a table, and people generally really respect them

EXERCISE

  • Kickboxing is a really good form of exercise
  • Fitness should be a part of everyone’s regime
  • You feel better with your endocrine system, with your health, etc.
  • “Use it or lose it”
  • Do whatever you need to do to exercise, any form is better than nothing

ANDY AND VINNIE

  • Even when Andy was working at Playboy, they’d meet all the time to discuss invention ideas
  • “Trainer in a box”, “Billion Pound Challenge”
  • They’d talk for hours brainstorming new ideas
  • Vinnie would never lie on TV
  • Some ideas that were discussed back then may soon be created!

WORKING AT PLAYBOY

  • If you worked as an exec, you had to host people
  • Give tour of grounds and have lunch with guest and a few playmates
  • Occasionally you would run into Kim Conrad (Hefner) and her sons
    • She was lovely but wanted time with her boys
  • Eventually she moved out with her children

THE PVC COMPANY

  • Vinnie as president, Andy as CEO
  • The company is doing really well
  • The start of the PVC business came around just over a year ago
  • Discussion concerning the business occurred at the same table at which the idea for Fitness Confidential was conceived
  • The name came simply from the fact that our vitamins are pure!
  • There were bumps at the beginning with shipping, but now it is all worked out
  • So much research went into making these quality, healthy, affordable vitamins
  • The website through which you purchase the vitamins is completely safe
  • Our goal is to help customers stay healthy, and we do whatever we can to make that happen

NSNG CALLERS

  • Many callers begin to plateau
  • Vinnie asks for their basics to see where they are (take me through your day)
  • Caller couldn’t lose weight because he was eating things like balance bars

NSNG means no grains of any kind, and relatively no sugar other than that found in things like fruit.  Generally, artificial sweeteners and chemicals can also prevent ketosis or a real weight losing state of being.  NSNG is a low carb high fat lifestyle rather than a diet, and those who pursue NSNG often feel better both physically and mentally, and are able to be their best selves on it.  Of course, Vinnie supports putting life into living and having a little non-NSNG snack every now and then, but being strict with oneself when it comes to losing weight on NSNG is often important.  Everyone is different, however — while diets high in dairy may still allow some to lose weight, it may prevent others from losing it, and starchy foods like potatoes can also affect people differently.  Look for foods with low glycemic indexes and make sure you are eating enough each day! If you have any questions or concerns or would like to speak with Vinnie about NSNG, please contact him through the website and he will respond as quickly as possible.

    • exercise is not the best way to lose weight

  • Scott is only a month and a half in, he will become more fat adapted and improve further
  • How does he get better while running?
    • continue to trickle a little sugar (if necessary) [pocket fuel]
    • accept that you might need a little help from sugar in exercise and races
  • It is not a quick fix — everyone is different and needs little different things
  • Grocery shopping will always be “from the outside”
  • Oils and fats are good in places while working out
  • US Wellness Meat is good while training
