Today is the Saturday edition of The Angriest Trainer’s podcast where Vinnie Tortorich answers listener’s questions.  Today’s guest is Jenn Moran.  She has been NSNG for a little over a year and started the idea of going 100 days NSNG.  Getting off the Sugar/Carb train is difficult and sometimes it is easier to go cold turkey.

  • Jenn was really excited about it and was very strict
  • Difficult because sugar, grains and gluten are everywhere
  • Her dad has joined her on NSNG
  • He has lost 30 pounds

JENN PUT TOO MUCH LIFE INTO LIVING

  • Gained weight and having trouble losing it
  • Back on NSNG and training for 1/2 marathon
  • Can’t shake off the weight

VINNIE GOES THROUGH HER FOOD DAY WITH HER

  • She was having only Bullet Proof coffee for breakfast
  • Need to start day with more protein, like an egg or two
  • Save protein shakes for later in the day
  • Dairy and cheese can also be too calorie dense
