WHAT HAPPENED AT KROQ

  • Lisa was let go about 2 months ago and not doing traffic anymore
  • She asked if they were hiring another woman
  • They hired Allie Mac Kay…formerly of KTLA

BRO SCIENCE (HEY BRO…DID YOU HEAR…)

  • Dr. Oz says things without scientific backup
  • Where does it say we all have to drink at least 8 glasses (64 oz) of water a day?  Everyone is different
  • Grocery stores like to promote grains and sugar
  • That’s their money maker

BEING ON THE SUGAR TRAIN

  • Hard to break the sugar habit and become fat-adapted
  • Have to go cold turkey…all sugar including honey and agave…the brain reacts the same to all sugars
  • After a while notice foods are too sweet
  • And feel a sugar hangover

SHOULD YOU GO LOW CARB OR BE IN KETOSIS IF YOU ARE ILL

  • The simple answer is no.
  • Women should not go too low either
  • However, all the carbs you need are in veggies
  • Grains have to be processed and are an inflammatory food
