SLOWING DOWN
- Often times, when discussing workout routines, Vinnie tells people to slow down.
- Gina set a pushup goal.
- Vinnie advised her to start small and take lots of time–more than you think you need–to build up.
- If you’re hurting a lot after your workouts, you might need to slow down.
- Generally, Vinnie says take what you’re doing, slow it down a bit, and then slow it down some more.
- Start with walking if you need to!
- And do fewer, higher weight reps on various machines.
- When you do your reps, do them slower.
- Really feel the exercise, make your muscles do the work.

- If you push yourself too hard, you won’t enjoy the exercise, and then you’re more likely to fail or quit.
