Episode 1907 – On this Saturday show, Cassandra Taylor joins Vinnie to discuss exercise without healthy eating, Cassandra’s incredible weight loss journey, failed calorie restriction diets, powerlifting records, and more.

EXERCISE WITHOUT HEALTHY EATING

  • Exercise by itself is a poor way to lose weight.
  • If you have a trainer but are not eating low carb, stop paying your trainer.
  • Cassandra had this experience — she was obese and her trainer would say she was strong, but that wouldn’t actually help.
  • All they said to her was “eat healthy at home.”
    • They wanted her to eat low fat and calorie restrict, but this did not work for her.
      • These diets stop working when you stop paying attention.
  • At her heaviest, she weighed over 400 lbs at 5’10” in her 30s.
    • She avoided the doctor because she didn’t want to hear what they had to say.

SEEING THE NUTRITIONAL LIGHT

  • Prior to getting bypass surgery, she decided to try NSNG®. 
    • She figured she had nothing to lose at this point.
  • She didn’t think it would work…but quickly, she lost over 20 lbs.
