VULNERABILITY IS A STRENGTH

  • Need to be authentic and honest about what is going on
  • Everyone tries to appear perfect
  • Especially if you are a leader…it’s an issue about being human and not perfect
  • The internet allows you to project an image of perfection

BALTIMORE

  • Looting and rioting do nothing but bring negative attention.
  • Peaceful protest needed to bring attention to police brutality
  • Not every police officer is abusive
  • Media tries to twist story to focus on negative

ANXIETY

  • Good motivator but cannot live a full life if it is controlling you
  • Don’t beat yourself up about everything
  • Look at what you gain and what you lose
  • Need to push forward
