VALUING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Vinnie and Anna have both had successful and unsuccessful relationships.
  • Just because Vinnie didn’t want to marry for a long time
  • Schedules that differ too much can make things harder.
  • Try not to be too affected by your significant others’ emotions.
    • If you base how you feel off of how they feel, that can be a recipe for disaster.
    • There’s a difference between being compassionate and being codependent.
  • Hold those you love close and try to split on good terms if you do split.
  • Vinnie recently lost an old girlfriend who he cared about very much, even after the breakup.
    • He’s been remembering all of the songs that remind him of her.
  • Life is short — try to smile and spend time with those who you love.

MODIFYING NSNG®

  • People have been asking Anna how much fat and how much protein to eat.
    • She hosts a Monday check-in — check it out.
  • Women have been saying they’re experimenting with lower fat (chicken fat, fish, avoiding butter) and a high protein diet.
    • They feel it’s kickstarting weight loss plateaus.
  • Just stick to NSNG® if you’re just starting out.
    • Don’t try to game the system.
    • If you are metabolically broken–like, really broken–cut out ALL carbs.
      • Eat fat and protein, in that order.
  • Over time, you will heal and you can add things or change it up a little bit.
    • But you need to heal first.
  • At a point, Vinnie thinks people often start eating too much fat.
    • Once your body corrects itself, you don’t need as many fats or calories.
    • Do not pull this back too much, because that is also harmful.
  • It’s a touchy-feely thing.
    • You know if you’re eating too much fat once you get used to this lifestyle.
      • If you feel you might be, consider dialing it back (but reassess if you find yourself hungry often).
