Welcome to the Wednesday edition of the Angriest Trainer podcast, where Vinnie Tortorich and cohost Andy Schreiber discuss Vinnie’s Saturday and how Vinnie and Andy sell their vitamins through Amazon.
VINNIE’S SATURDAY
- 5:15am — physical therapy
- Got ready for his day
- Spoke on the phone with a woman from England (Janie)
- Discussed her relationship with food
- Talked to a guy named Henry who quoted old podcasts
- Packed about 1000 bottles of vitamins with Andy today
- Vinnie enjoys talking to more people at a lower price so he can help
WHY AMAZON?
- Had to charge ~10$ more to make a profit through Amazon
- Shipping company usually sends them out
- Originally sent 200 bottles to Amazon, but quickly realized they needed many more
- Sold a bottle every three or four days or so
- The more people buy, the lower (better) the ranking of the product gets
- Selling way more on Amazon than expected to the point where they have to ship their own bottles
- Top quality at the price that every man can afford
- Rolls Royce priced as a Toyota
- No advertising dollars behind the vitamins which is why the rise in numbers selling is so shocking
