Dr. Lagakos received a PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry and Physiology from Rutgers University where his research focused on dietary fat assimilation and integrated energy metabolism.  His postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Diego, centered on obesity, inflammation, and insulin resistance.  Dr. Lagakos has authored numerous manuscripts which have been published in peer-reviewed journals, as well as a non-fiction book titled The poor, misunderstood calorie which explores the concept of calories and simultaneously explains how hormones and the neuroendocrine response to foods regulate nutrient partitioning.  He is presently a nutritional sciences researcher, consultant, and blogger at www.CaloriesProper.com.

Genecand David is passionate about energy and health. He is the founder of Almondgy ® natural energy cube: an energy snack that offers vitality and wellness. He has more  than 20 years of local & international experience in the food industry with the company Kraft Foods. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the AVIFED (Welfare Foundation of the Federation of Builders Merchants and Entrepreneurs) and Sportsmile (Foundation for children and adolescents with chronic illness or overweight). He is also an ultra-marathoner who was trained by Stu Mittleman (American Ultra Hall of Fame) in the U.S. He organizes events, lectures and coaching.
