WOMEN AND DIETARY KETOSIS

  • One problem is that when women see that they are doing well on low-carbs, they often cut out more carbs
  • Usually from vegetables and fruit…they diet so hard, they lose their periods
  • If they do not get enough fat or carbs, their hormones shut down
  • They stop ovulating because their body cannot carry a fetus

INTERMITTENT FASTING

  • Gentle fast is after an early dinner…do not eat until breakfast
  • It is a good idea to sometimes stretch out the time between one meal to the next
  • There are many health benefits
  • Fasting improves blood markers

ANTIBIOTICS

  • Overused and killing good bacteria that supports our immune system
  • When you have your teeth cleaned or dental work, bacteria in the mouth goes into the bloodstream
  • It is important to take an antibiotic if you have certain heart conditions or other health issues
