IGNORING HEALTH BUZZWORDS

  • There are a lot of “health” related buzzwords out there.
  • For example, plant-based is one.
  • Now, “ancient grains” are really kicking.
  • Just because you hear them a lot and they try to market them as different doesn’t make them different.
  • Ancient grains are quite simply grains.
  • Are unprocessed/unmodified grains better?
    • Maybe, but they still aren’t good for you.
  • F quinoa!
  • Historically, people ate grains because it fattened them up.
