SCOTT KING

  • Scott has an absolutely amazing story.
  • His weight now hovers around 250 lbs at 6’1″.
    • He still has weight to lose, but it’s a heck of a lot better than when he weighed well over 500 lbs and was near real sickness and possibly death.
  • Nobody can be perfect, but if you strive for perfection you can land on excellence.
    • And Scott has definitely done that with his weight loss.

FAILED WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY

  • Scott had a gastric style surgery at 552 lbs.
    • He got down to 276 lbs but tended to sit around 300 lbs.
      • After, he put almost all the weight back on.
  • Vinnie talks to lots of people who have similar experiences.
    • And they feel terribly after the surgeries and struggle to get proper nutrients.
  • There can be many complications.
  • If it worked for you, great! But this is not a magic pill.

GETTING IN SHAPE

  • He’s also doing well with his bike.
    • Vinnie and he talk bike specs.
  • This is one of the best ways to get in shape!
  • For Zone 2 exercise, how’s the best way to do that?
    • You can split up your exercise throughout the day so long as you’re doing enough.
      • 45 min in the morning and 45 min in the evening is plenty on the bike so long as you can get some longer rides in on the weekend.
        • But obviously, work up to this.
  • Rest days are very important, especially when you’re cycling!
