THE VOGELS
- Bill and Chris met on Match.com.
- They fell in love and it’s been a great story ever since.
- Bill says he convinced her to date him!
- For Chris, she knew she wanted to get married again so she seriously surveyed the apps.
- Bill and Christy talked on the phone a lot and then realized they had to meet.
DEAFNESS AND CANCER
- Like Vinnie, Chris had hearing problems at an early age.
- Chris’s problem was discovered at school when she failed the hearing tests.
- She didn’t receive her first hearing aids until she was an adult.
- She went through life without hearing much until she was established, and only then did she realize how much she was missing.
- Until then, people thought Chris was slow — but that wasn’t the case . . . she just couldn’t hear!
- And like Vinnie, Bill battled serious cancer.
- He had leukemia and non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
- Fasting made a world of difference for him — quite literally.
- Bill is fortunate that he is living with this ‘uncurable’ cancer and is doing very well.
