OBESITY EPIDEMIC

  • Coca Cola has been funding researchers who divert the conversation of obesity away from too many calories toward people not exercising enough
    • NOT right, NOT widely shared
  • Coca Cola trying to be more transparent but bribing incorrectly
  • Coca Cola also gave money to American Cancer society
    • American Cancer society has prior talked about how sugar is bad — this is messed up
    • Diabetes foundation has also received (wrong) funding from Coca-Cola
  • We know sugar makes cancer grow and hurts diabetes, but these foundations advertise wrongly because they are receiving money from corporations like Coca-Cola
