STRENGTH TRAINING 101

  • Blake wants to get into strength training.
  • He hasn’t done much of this before.
  • He’s also not a gym guy, so his question is: what can he get at home?
  • Vinnie recommends a pull up bar. Make sure you get one with a counterbalance, because they are much more stable.
    • Do pull ups, and add a trap system in there.
      • You can do different gravity-style exercises this way and strengthen additional muscles.

    • For beginners like Blake, don’t start with weights yet!
    • Take it slow and avoid tendonitis.
