JENNIFER’S WEIGHT LOSS

• She has been on the show before. 
• Jennifer hails from Seattle.

• At her heaviest, she was about 297 lbs at 5’10”.

STAVING OFF SEIZURES

• Jennifer has epilepsy.
  • She had been on medication from age 19 or 20.
    • They paralyzed her face, gave her blisters, and she was still having terrible seizures that were controlling much of her life.
• Her doctor told her keto should be a ‘last resort’ for cholesterol reasons.
• One day, she came across the Charlie Foundation.
• Within her first month of keto, the seizures stopped. 
  • 6 months in, she hadn’t had a seizure and went to the doctor.
    • Her doctor crazily referred her to a nutritionist who recommended seed oils and the like.
      • She didn’t follow this advice, but did titrate off of her medication with the help of her doctor.
• Jennifer has been four years seizure free!
• People say it works for children — it works for adults, too.
