  • Vinnie and the crew attended Low Carb USA convention in San Diego
  • He went to the convention to shoot many of the attendees for Fat Doc
  • The other interviewees for the documentary, Vinnie will fly in or they will commute to Vinnie’s house
  • A lot of folks asked Vinnie when he was speaking at the convention
    • He wasn’t speaking at all!
    • Lots of people also asked where Anna was
  • Many of the greats who spoke at Low Carb USA likely get paid for these events
    • Vinnie believes experts in the field ought to be paid, especially when they’ve already had a lot of exposure
  • It costs over $300 to attend events like this
    • They’re probably making a good amount of money on this
  • Vinnie had a weird run-in with some folks – one woman talking to him a lot, her friend being all huffy puffy
    • This woman goes “Who are you?”
    • Got more and more bizarre
