SPINNING CLASSES

  • Spinning classes are not a good way to lose weight
  • While any exercise is good for you in general, spinning not optimal for weight loss
  • SoulCycle and similar companies charge a lot of money for a little
    • Easily same stuff you can do at home
    • They push you so hard you feel like you want to die, and it’s largely unnecessary
    • Popular/trendy but it is silly and too expensive
  • It’s a whole class of doing intervals
    • Not in Zone 2 which is the fat burning zone
  • Instructors often set people up on the bike incorrectly, too
  • Most people end up having sugar or something carby after because they were worked to a breaking point for no reason
    • Zone 4 to death
      • Just burning blood sugar
    • This is the reason people don’t feel like Zone 2 is enough when really it is the best zone for fat burning

PRISON TATS

  • Also commonly known as “stick-and-poke” tattoos
  • Anna let her daughter, Lucy, give her one
    • It says LUCY !
  • Her husband and a family friend also got some
  • See pic below
