THE GOOD OLD DAYS
- Vinnie and Andy lead off the show chatting about the good old days with skits from the 1970s and 1980s’ Saturday Night Live TV show; as a result, Vinnie recalls products from that era. (3:40)
- Andy was extremely lean in his 20s, and Vinnie asks him about “emulsified fat” products that were recommended to people who needed to put weight on. (5:30)
- One of the products was a malt tablet and Andy and Vinnie chat about shakes you could make that were mostly sugar. (10:50)
- Speaking of shakes, the conversation leads to local dairy farms where Andy lived, and about home milk delivery. (17:08)
- Vinnie mentions how it seems few kids seem to know where their food comes from; Vinnie recommends field trips to farms so they can see the work. (18:50)
- The conversation then turns to various areas around Los Angeles that used to be farmland and compares how the area is now; as a result, Vinnie tells a story of having to get into gated communities with his dog. (20:30)
