STRETCHING

  • Stretching is INCREDIBLY important
  • Doing it before, does not reap you a whole lot
    • However, now that Vinnie is a bit older, he does a few stretches before doing anything athletic
      • Twists, pigeon pose, etc.
  • Vinnie NEVER bounces when he stretches – don’t!
    • You can microscopically tear pieces of your muscle
  • More important is to stretch after a work out
    • Helps loosen the muscles up
    • Longer stretch
  • Serena likes yoga to stretch
  • Long slow distance is important, tune in next week
  • Do it as a relaxing thing
  • It is a discipline that you really should make time for
    • Within an hour of finishing a work out, go into stretches
