THE EFFECTS OF PLASTICS

  • Vinnie and Anthony begin the show with an update about Dr. Jay’s career and consulting practice. (1:30)
  • Dr. Jay is the author of “Estrogeneration“, which addresses the effects of plastics and other chemicals on our health. (3:00)
    • Dr. Jay explains the “off-gassing” of plastics.
    • So many items we use daily have estrogenic effects!
    • BPA was invented by Charles Edwards Dodds in the 1920s for birth control; however, it has been used in a wide array of plastics. (6:00)
  • Vinnie and Dr. Jay also discuss how fragrances, soaps, sunscreens, and more, contain chemicals that negatively affect our bodies. (11:50)
