DINING OUT ON NSNG®

  • Sushi and other asian foods can be difficult.
  • If you want sushi while eating no sugar, no grains, go for sashimi.
    • Additionally, lots of soy sauce has gluten so watch out.
  • When you dine out, stick with meat and vegetables.
    • Ask for no fries, no pilaf, no rice on the side at all.
      • Don’t tempt yourself!
        • Normally you can get some veg instead.
  • American restaurants are great for burgers, cheese, avocado and bacon.
  • If you get a side salad, get olive oil and no croutons.
  • Treat your servers well!!!! Often, they may not get it or may be trying their best.
  • Steak is always the move.
  • French food is easy.
  • Italian can be tough. Stick to a fish dish with a veg side.
  • If you go out and eat badly, you will likely feel it.
    • If you mess up, just get back on the wagon the next meal.

SUGARS AND CARBS

  • There are a million names for sugar.
  • Monk-fruit, stevia, honey, etc. are all sugars.
  • Smoothies are just straight sugar, even made from home.
    • Once you blend the fruit, you’ll notice how sugary it is.
    • Especially when you get smoothies out, they are filled with crap.
  • Also, try to avoid protein powders and gluconeogenesis.
  • Further, don’t try to do net carbs.
    • This is all fake keto BS.
      • Eat meat, have eggs, etc. Have cheese if you can handle dairy. You don’t need something with 12 ingredients.
