YERBA MATE DRINKS

  • 2 servings in it
  • 120 calories (doesn’t matter)
  • 0g fat, not much sodium
  • 28g of carbs! (coca cola level)
  • 0g protein
  • Ingredients: H2O, yerba mate extract, hibiscus tea, cane sugar, etc.
    • Just drink water or tea – you don’t need the cane sugar in it
  • This is crap. May as well drink soda (but don’t poison your body this way!)
  • Stuff like this does NOT make your insides look good
    • You may still look good on the outside, but it is doing internal harm

NSNG, KETO, AND PALEO DIFFERENCES

  • They are all low carb variations
  • At least 30 days to be really really strict and have pretty much no carbs before you get settled in
    • You’ll be in dietary ketosis during this time
  • However, you don’t need to be in dietary ketosis to lose weight
  • If you have some beans, for example, you will be NSNG but likely not in ketosis
  • If you are super metabolically broken, ketosis is better than NSNG
    • Still lose weight though with just NSNG
  • Paleo is pretty good, but you can have natural sweeteners and other carby foods a lot
    • Also, paleo excludes dairy which is good for some, but others really like dairy when they’re low carb
