CARBOHYDRATES

  • Point black, carbs are addicting
    • This is why so many people have a hard time quitting
  • Poison your body but make you want to come back for more
  • Because of their addictive nature and the temporary satisfaction that they bring, people use carbs to treat their emotional problems
    • People get sad, pig out on ice cream or chips, never on broccoli
    • By doing this, they are also reinforcing their bad eating habits
    • Makes it harder and harder to break the cycle
  • This is why it is better to go cold turkey
    • Treat quitting carbs like quitting any other drug
      • You wouldn’t ease yourself off of doing meth, you would STOP
        • Yes there are withdrawals but once you are ‘clean’ for a bit you will feel so much better
