DYSFUNCTIONAL STARBUCKS
- Vinnie prefers his own coffee
- However, when he’s out and in a pinch, Starbucks is good
- Try an iced Cappuccino with heavy cream foam on the top
- Vinnie got 5 shots
- Obviously overpriced
- Vinnie’s been ordering the Venti (20oz)
- Just too much cream for him
- Now, he’s going to be having Grandes
- Weird that it’s called a Grande but it’s the medium size
- The Grande size of his drink was over $7
- This cost MORE than the Venti
- Had to do with adding the extra shots
- This cost MORE than the Venti
CHOLESTEROL KNOWLEDGE
- Vinnie wanted to get a check-up to see how he’s doing
- Wanted to make sure his cancer wasn’t coming back
- They did all of his blood work that day
- Vinnie went back a few days later, and she told him he has dangerously high cholesterol
- She wasn’t looking at what matters
- Only looking at the LDL number
- She wasn’t looking at what matters
- Many doctors lack knowledge about cholesterol
- She didn’t even make him fast before the test, so the results were likely BS
- All she kept saying was “that’s the bad cholesterol”
- They didn’t do any density tests or anything like that
- His trigs were actually pretty low
- The doctor seemed to ignore that, despite the fact this number is maybe even more important
- Vinnie felt that she was trying to scare him into medication or something like this
- This doctor was wrong, but if Vinnie didn’t know any better he would have been scared and bullied into eating the wrong way
- This is how good intentions are stolen
- If this sounds like your doctor, try to find another doctor if possible
- At LEAST get a CDC, a complete cholesterol and hormone panel if possible
