MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW
- This show was quite heavy, especially for the 70s
- Dealt with love, money, religion
- There was a Jewish character that couldn’t do certain things because of her religion
- MTM put her SO through something like Med School and then he dumped her
COLLEGE IS MORE THAN ACADEMICS
- Vinnie learned a lot socially in college
- Learned about religions, class, etc.
- You get ready for the real world through interactions
- Vinnie didn’t realize how real Antisemitism was until he went to a Catholic University that had a ton of Jewish students
- College made him more culturally and religiously sensitive
