  • Pure Vitamin Club

VITAMIN CONVENTION

  • Andy just returned from a vitamin convention
    • In Vegas
  • Suppliers, producers of vitamins and supplements
  • A trade show like many others
    • Vinnie and Andy like to go to coffee shows, too
  • Lots of junk at these trade shows

SPORTS NUTRITION

  • Lots of people at vitamin show were selling junk
  • Bro Science / sports nutrition
  • Normal, good nutrition should be the same as sports nutrition
  • Very little science behind this genre of nutrition
  • Sell a ton of products, then get shut down by FDA
    • Try to make as much because they anticipate closing down
  • Similar to other BS that Vinnie sees propagated at trade shows
    • Coincidence that Bull Sh** and Bro Science have the same initials? I think not
    • See the video below for another example of this
      • You will be shocked
      • No science behind this
        • She is tripping HERSELF up on Vinnie’s basic questions
  • When Andy and Vinnie put out products, they make sure they are quality and not full of junk
    • SCIENCE behind their vitamins
    • NSNG is not ‘sports nutrition’, just normal good nutrition
      • However, high fat low carb benefits many athletes
        • Vinnie and Serena, for example, including more and more pro athletes as the low carb movement grows
  • More companies ought to challenge the status quo and promote products based on SCIENCE not on BS
    • It should be about helping people first and making money second
