MOUNTAIN BIKE RACING

  • Vinnie got into the mountain bike racing from ultra cycling
  • He was a big guy!
  • Now, with a shoulder that can sustain this type of cycling, he is gonna get back into it
    • More stress than a road race
  • Specialized, a fantastic company, is providing him with a bike and gear
    • Go check out their bikes and accessories
  • Vinnie has taught a lot of people how to go long on road bikes
  • Worked his way up to the elite category for mountain biking
  • Took him awhile to figure out the whole water thing
    • Avoided the Gu’s and Powerbars as much as possible
  • If you ride any bike long enough, the chain rings and the like start to wear down
    • Once every 5 or 6 weeks Vinnie used to have to get his bike fixed up
    • Good bikes like Specialized need less maintenance
  • People were shocked by how much Vinnie rode
  • Vinnie made it to some finals, did quite well, hated having to give it up

CRAZY BITCHES

  • Vinnie sure does love the song Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry
  • Vinnie had a bad relationship with a girlfriend and stayed out mountain biking for hours to avoid going home to her.
  • Andy said she was hot but definitely insane.
