- Vinnie’s birthday was September, 27th, the day this podcast was recorded
- He always expect to live old, until diagnosed with Leukemia (final stages)
- 9 years ago he thought he would not live to see this day
- Had tons of medical bills that he had to pay off, that was quite a lot
- Vinnie is healthy, in great shape, and living year by year to the fullest!
- Vinnie got a corvette back then
- Sold it to a doctor, used that money to pay off some of the bills
- Sold everything he owned to pay off bills — wasn’t even recovered yet
- His struggles and beating cancer are what ultimately led him to writing Fitness Confidential
- Dean Lorey pressed him to do it, and helped
- Publishers got ahold of the book and tried to change everything
- Fortunately, Vinnie and Dean self-published and that is why you have the book you have today!
