HOLIDAY RECIPES

  • There are plenty of great holiday-type recipes in the Eat Happy cookbook

  • Anna has crock-pot recipes too for lots of people
    • You can also bring these to pot-luck type events, and it makes it easier for you because you have an NSNG option!
  • Anna also has lots of little tips and tricks in Eat Happy
  • Don’t eat bayleaves, and buy them a few times a year so they aren’t brittle
  • You don’t need excuses to not eat people’s food, stick to your guns
    • That being said, feel free to put some LIL as long as you get right back on track
      • Thanksgiving dinner is one meal, so you do you!
        • Don’t have carbphobia if you really do wanna eat the grains and the sweets
          • You may feel bad the next day, but just continue on NSNG right away
  • You don’t need a turkey sandwich for leftovers, you can do lots of good things with left-over turkey that do not involve bread!
  • Check out her low-carb stuffing — that is a good one!

HALLOWEEN

  • Vinnie doesn’t hand out candy for Halloween
  • Anna only had a few kids stop by
    • They didn’t even say “Trick or Treat”
  • Trick or Treating was not a big thing for Vinnie, but was for Anna
  • Now it is a bunch of Halloween parties for highschoolers
